The first stage - Design
Process
The first stage - Design
When preliminary design is done, architectural and civil design has to be created. This part is very important for further actions, therefore, we are meeting it with great attention and a high sense of responsibility. When there is a precisely planed design the manufacturing and construction is done perfectly. With the latest computer based programs in architecture and structural engineering in that helps architects and engineers save their time for drawing and calculations.
These programs promote the finished product quality and reduce time spent on drawings. Using ‘Dlubal‘ software program, load calculations are carried out respectively the local standards, taking into account the relative load, which could affect the stability of the structure / load bearing capacity. Program can be used with appropriate standards such as Eurocode, which is used in almost European Union countries. When structural design is done and panels are designed according to all required standards, the manufacturing drawings are produced.
‘VILLASWEA’ has a very powerful program that is used to produce manufacturing drawings – ‘CADwork’. This program consists of drawings of the panels needed for the planned settlement. Drawings, that are produced using ‘CADwork’, contain every detail that is required to saw and assembled panels without an error that could occur using low-tech programs.
The second stage – Manufacturing process
Material Preparation (cutting):
Material specification output form ‘CADwork’ is directly transformed to automatic saw ‘STROMAB CT 600’, which reads information and cuts timber elements in precise length, therefore, it reduces probability of an error to occur during manufacturing process.
Also, less material is wasted, because saw automatically plans and calculates how to divide a timber element to use as much of the material as possible.
‘STROMAB CT 600’ is an integral part of production, it saves 30% of production time, but most of all, using the saws, the accuracy is perfect and every element of the pre-fabricated panel in one hundred percent corresponds to the required size.
Frame
When necessary, elements are cut, the panel frame can be made according to manufacturing drawings. It seems like putting puzzle knowing where to put each piece.
This manufacturing part is done quickly and accurately
Insulation and internal layer
A big advantage in the production process is ‘butterfly tables’. They promote the production of manufacturing by saving time on turning over panels to the other side (the one which has not been finished).
External finishing
The Third Stage – Transportation
When all pre-fabricated elements (panels, windows, doors etc) are ready, they are loaded on a truck and delivered to the construction site where the new house is going to be built. It is essential to do detailed loading scheme/plan in order to use most of the truck’s capacity (potentially usable volume). Our logistic and production specialists have developed a special manufacturing / logistics scheme, which is used while manufacturing panels. This scheme provides a special sequence in which panels are manufactured, so that the loading order is according to construction process. All necessary security measures are observed to promote the success of transportation.
Loading Scheme
To do correct pre-fabricated timber panel house element loading in a truck and unloading them at the site, it is necessary to create a detailed loading and assembly scheme/plan. If all plans are done correctly and accurate, the assembly time is reduced to minimum, because pre-fabricated panels are mounted straight form the truck.
The Fourth Stage – Montage
Once the panels are delivered to the site, where the foundation is already cast, they are unloaded from truck and assembled together forming the structure. This process is similar to the Lego (construction game), all pre-fabricated elements are assembled in correct way and single family homes; on average, are assembled within 3-5 days (it depends on the domestic residential areas and architectural design of the structure).
Building steps: Plattform, cutting in fabric, erections walls and Turn-key house.
